Privacy Policy

Puzzle attempts, completion history, preferences, favorites, and onboarding status are stored in your browser using IndexedDB, local storage, or session storage. Clever Pause does not receive this puzzle data unless a future feature clearly asks you to export or send it.

Google Analytics 4 loads only after you explicitly allow Analytics. Clever Pause may then send limited events such as a puzzle type, difficulty, broad duration range, canonical page path, or feature used. Events must not include board contents, candidate marks, imported data, full URL queries, consent strings, or information intended to identify you. When sharing succeeds, Clever Pause may record only the page family, puzzle type or weekly date, and whether native share or clipboard copy was used; it does not send the shared text or URL. Clever Pause does not supply a User-ID or its own analytics session identifier.

GA4 may set a first-party pseudonymous Analytics cookie for up to 90 days after consent. Clever Pause configures that expiry not to refresh on later visits. Denying or withdrawing Analytics permission does not affect puzzle access, saving, or offline play.

Clever Pause plans to use manually placed Google AdSense advertisements. Cookiebot CMP manages separate Analytics and advertising choices. Advertising remains disabled while consent is pending, denied, unavailable, or in an error state. Where supported, a limited-ad request may be used after a non-personalized choice. Clever Pause does not copy, export, or analyze the CMP consent string.

Google and its advertising partners may process device information, IP address, and cookies or similar storage according to their own policies after the applicable choice. Read Google's Privacy Policy.

You can clear Clever Pause data through your browser, use the controls in Settings, or reopen the consent manager below. Withdrawing Analytics or advertising consent does not remove access to puzzles or game features.
